An example of a good professional website is the Kimberly Bradford Event Planning & Design. This website has many elements within it that are easy to get to. The font and colors used go together well and make sense for what it is selling. The website gives off an overall classy look that is attractive to those who intentionall go to it or jsut happen to stumble upon it.
An example of a bad webpage design is the Yale University School of Art. To begin with when you go to the page what first pops out at you are the random names dropping from the top of the page. After your eyes adjust you realize how horrible the colors look together. What should have had the most time spent on was the links, but not all of the links actually work. Also the links are in there own separate text box which makes the website look tacky and cheap.
An example of a good personal is the website called Things that are Brown. This website uses contrasting colors that work in the others favor. The text is readable and the links are easy to find. There is a text box on the homepage that moves, but it does not at all take away from the homepage itself.

What makes a good video
Three elements that make a good video are sound, lighting, and subject. Here are three instructional videos that each fail to represent one of the elements I listed:
This video shows and narrates how to succesfully make a paper gun that shoots. The sound quality is decent, but the narrator (subject) is boring and he spends too much time showing the audience how to roll up a piece of paper.
This video narrates way in which a person can fall asleep faster than the y normally would be able to. The lighting is horrible and there is a glare throughout the entire video.
This video shows you how to correctly tie a tie. The sound quality is muffled and unclear at times and there also appears to be music playing in the background.
I chose to do this assignment on "how to" videos because I like watching them. The particular ones I chose for the assignment were eached picked to display a specific element that they are lacking.
